1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Sports Mania website at sportsmania.app or the Sports Mania mobile application (iOS and Android) (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and any other parties who interact with the Service.
2. Description of Service
Sports Mania is a sports information platform that provides live and historical game scores, statistics, league standings, and related sports content for basketball, football, and other sports across the Middle East region. The Service is available via our website and mobile applications.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You may register using an email address and password, or via Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@sportsmania.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.3 One account per person
Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans is prohibited.
3.4 Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or databases.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Service without express written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the mobile application or Service.
- Transmit any malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access the Service at a rate that burdens our infrastructure.
- Attempt to interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 Our content
All content on the Service — including but not limited to text, scores, statistics, logos, graphics, software, and the mobile application — is owned by or licensed to Sports Mania and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
5.2 Sports data
Game scores and statistics are sourced and compiled by Sports Mania. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty that scores or statistics are error-free or up-to-date in real time.
5.3 Team and league logos
Team names, league names, and associated logos are the property of their respective owners. Sports Mania uses them for identification and informational purposes only and does not claim ownership.
6. Mobile Application
6.1 License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Sports Mania mobile application on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
6.2 App store terms
Your use of the mobile application is also subject to the terms of the app store through which you download it (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the app store terms, these Terms govern to the extent permitted.
6.3 Updates
We may release updates to the mobile application. You agree to install updates in a timely manner. Continuing to use the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
6.4 Push notifications
If you enable push notifications, you consent to receiving game alerts and updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and Google/Firebase services for messaging, analytics, and crash reporting). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Game scores and statistics will be accurate, complete, or current.
- Any defects will be corrected.
Sports Mania is an informational platform only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official source for any league, federation, or sports organization.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SPORTS MANIA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sports Mania and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Sports Mania operates.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
